We want the children of Redemption Hill Church to have a deeply rooted confidence in the character of God so they passionately follow Him through good and bad times. Our hope is to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children by providing environments, curriculum, and resources that center on the gospel and teach the nature and character of God. Children are a gift from God to us and we work hard to engage them in the life of the church.

From the beginning, we have utilized DCPS as a standard for protocols in our children’s ministry. Keeping with that standard, masks are discretionary. If you have a child who is showing any signs of sickness, please do not check them in. If you are immunocompromised, or would just like a little more distancing, the balcony continues to be reserved and masks will be required.

Each Sunday our worship gatherings provide a fun, clean, safe, protected environment for our children to learn about Jesus. We have a great team of volunteers who have been screened and trained. There are two opportunities for our kids:

Childcare - 9:00 AM & 5 PM

Each Sunday we offer care for Redemption Hill's littlest ones. We worship the Lord through song and dance, have a small snack and hear teaching from Scripture. Our kids have age-appropriate teaching time each week. All preschool children, including nursery, walkers, and preschoolers, may be checked in before worship, dropped off in the upstairs room, and picked up after the service by a parent or guardian.

Kids Worship - 9:00 AM Service

(Grades K-5)

Kids Worship is a place where kids spend time learning and worshipping through song, story, and study during our 9:00 AM Sunday gatherings. All kids ages Kindergarten through 5th grade are checked in downstairs prior to our worship service. These kids join us for the first part of the service and are then dismissed to their teachers for Kids Worship before the sermon. This allows our school-age kids to receive teaching at their level and to build real community with others who share their age and stage of development. They rejoin us after the sermon for the end of the service.

6th graders and older join us throughout the service.
