Lent 2020

Gather your group around for this crowd-pleasing dinner idea! There are no wrong answers with a charcuterie board, so if you’ve always wanted an excuse to eat chocolate covered pretzels for dinner, this is your chance. Invite everyone to bring their favorite cheese board appropriate foods, or get organized with a Need List on CCB to make sure your board is balanced.

Ingredients

  • Cheese – Aged, soft, firm & blue

    • 3-5 types of cheese (at least one each hard, soft, and blue cheese variety).

  • Savory  – Charcuterie meats, mustards, tapenades, veggies (raw, roasted & pickled), nuts, olives

    • 2-4 types of meat

  • Sweet – Fruits (fresh & dried), honey, preserves, chocolate

  • Bread – Crostini, fresh bread, crackers, breadsticks

    • 3-4 types of artisan crackers and/or thinly sliced baguette

Directions

  1. Fill in the plate with your favorite nuts, spreads, fruit, veggies, and sweets

  2. Finally add a few sprigs of rosemary (or your favorite herb) to liven up the plate

  3. Complete and enjoy with your favorite drink!
