Summer Celebration Series
Redemption Hill is celebrating our 15 Year Anniversary this August and to celebrate, we're inviting Community Groups across the DMV to host events, gatherings, service projects, or general hangs in their area for the rest of the church.
Neighborhood Clean Up & Picnic
Date: Saturday, June 13
Time: 10 AM
Location: Trash Pick-up between 18th & 19th St SE, from Potomac Ave SE to E St NE, picnic at SE corner of Lincoln Park. RSVP here.
Join our East DC CGs on Saturday, June 13 for a morning of serving our neighborhood together followed by a community picnic at the Fields at RFK!
We’ll begin with a neighborhood trash pickup from 10:00–11:00 AM, with organized meeting points throughout the area between 18th & 19th St SE, from Potomac Ave SE up to E St NE. This stretch includes many of our CG members’ homes and is an area that could really use some extra care and cleanup.
After the cleanup, we’ll head to the RFK Pavilion for a picnic from 11:30 AM–1:00 PM. We’ll leave a little time between the cleanup and picnic so everyone can grab food before heading over. The picnic will be bring-your-own-lunch but we will provide drinks and dessert! RSVP here!
