Benevolence

We’re in the midst of the longest government shutdown in our nation's history. It’s hitting DC the hardest- 145,000 of the 361,000 federal workers in the Washington region are not receiving a paycheck according to the Washington Post

Some of those workers are part of our church family. As Galatians 6:10 reminds us, “as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.” So, we’ve set up a Benevolence Fund for those who are affected by the shutdown to provide grocery gift cards to help provide for their needs.

If you would like to contribute to the Benevolence Fund, you can give in the following ways:

  1. Give Online. It is simple and secure, and will only take a few moments to go through the process. You can either use your credit or debit card, or give directly through your bank account. Please select "Benevolence" from the Designation drop-down menu.

  2. Give by Mail. You can give by sending a check with "Benevolence Fund" written in the memo line to: Redemption Hill Church, PO Box 15250, Washington, DC 20003.

  3. Give in Person. Every worship gathering provides opportunity for those in attendance to give toward the work of Redemption Hill Church. Please write "Benevolence Fund" on the memo line of your check.

  4. Give on our App. The Redemption Hill Church app allows you to easily and securely give on your smartphone. Choose "Benevolence" from the Fund drop-down menu. You can download our app from iTunes, Google Play, or the Microsoft Store.

Redemption Hill is a 501(c)3 organization, and all contributions are tax-deductible.
