Who We Are

Redemption Hill Church D.C. is a community of people saved by Jesus and sent into our city to live out His mission. We come together weekly to worship as a family and scatter throughout the city in community groups during the week.

We gather corporately as a Church every Sunday at 5:00pm at the site of Ebenezer UMC (4th and D, SE).

What to Expect

If you're new to Redemption Hill Church - here's what to expect

  • We love Jesus.  We also care deeply about the city and its people.  We want to love, serve, and challenge those who call DC home with the Gospel. That's who we are.
  • Expositional preaching and engaging worship.  We dig deeply into the Bible each week to understand God's redemptive message for us and the city.
  • Our congregation reflects the local community - young professionals, families, and people from all walks of life who are seek to live out the Gospel in and service to each other and the city.
  • You can come as you are, dressed as you like. We're typically pretty casual.

Have questions? Email us at info@redemptionhilldc.org.

Kids

We provide childcare for kids from 6 weeks old through preschool. All kids ages Kindergarten through 5th grade join us for the first part of the service and are then dismissed for Kids worship before the sermon. 6th graders and older join us throughout the service.

Parking

Most street parking is free and has no time limit on Sundays. Signs that list a 2-hour time limit are generally restricted only Monday-Friday. You should be able to find parking within a few-block radius of the church building.

There are a few sections that are explicitly marked by red signs as “Zone 6 Resident Permit Parking Only”. These are not good places to park.

Metro

Both the Blue and Orange lines run through the Eastern Market Metro Station. As you arrive at the Eastern Market Station exit via the escalators and turn 180 degrees to walk toward the CVS at the corner of 7th St & D St SE and continue down D St SE. Ebenezer UMC is only three blocks down at 4th & D St SE.
