BELONG: 2018 Women’s conference
Join the women of Redemption Hill this November as we hear from God’s Word and each other, leaning into vulnerability and family, to learn more of the deep love of Jesus and celebrate our adoption into His family with one another.
Too often we lack deep confidence in who we are, feeling loneliness even within community. The gospel shows us that we belong to our Heavenly Father which enables us to love, be vulnerable, and give of ourselves to others without reserve. The Spirit can empower us to know who we are and whose we are.
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 2
6pm - Registration & Fellowship
7pm - Session 1: We Belong to God, pt 1
The Bible tells us, through Christ, we are accepted and adopted into the family of God and nothing can separate us from the love of God. His love for us knows no bounds and cannot be inhibited by our own shortcomings, or the world around us. Come join us as we learn more about the deep love of the Father, our inclusion into His forever family and the freedom that comes from being a child of God.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 3
8am - Holy Yoga & Coffee (optional)
9am - Session 2: We Belong to God, pt 2
Saint Augustine wrote "Grant Lord that I may know myself that I may know thee." Often in our attempts to know God we shy away from, ignore, or dismiss the importance of knowing ourselves. But transformation in the Christian life can only occur when God and self are both deeply known. Let's explore this topic more together!
12pm - Lunch (provided)
1pm - Breakout Sessions: We Belong to Each Other
We are gifts to each other in community, in suffering, in joy, in friendship, in work, and in showing off the love of Jesus to the rest of the world. God created us to need each other and to rely on each other. We will explore what it looks like to belong to each other and how God uses this as a beautiful demonstration of the greatness of His love.
3pm - Session 3: We Belong Here
5pm - Celebratory Feast! (provided; veggie & gluten free options available)
Registration includes: 2 books, conference swag, light breakfast, lunch, and a feast on Saturday.
