Redemption Hill Church
In the city, for the city

2018 Opportunity Fund

2018 Opportunity Fund

Since Redemption Hill’s beginning we have had a focus on church planting. Our church has invested money, leaders, members, and training resources to see the gospel move forward through new churches in DC, throughout the surrounding region, and internationally. As we look ahead to a new year, we are ready to begin building a fund to welcome our next Church Planting Resident.

We need your help!

Redemption Hill’s Opportunity Fund allows us to raise money for initiatives that are outside of our regular Financial Plan.
This year we are hoping to raise $40,000. $30,000 of that will build a foundation for a Church Planting Residency Fund. The remaining $10,000 will be invested into strategic ministry partnerships outside of Redemption Hill Church that will help us in our goal to Reach DC and Reflect DC. Everything we raise above this amount will help to accelerate the timeline for a Church Planting Residency.
As you prayerfully consider giving to Redemption Hill at the end of this year, keep both the Opportunity Fund and the General Fund in mind. Remember that all donations are tax-deductible.

How do I give?
There are three ways to give:

  • Give Online through CCB. It is simple and secure, and will only take a few moments to go through the process. You can either use your credit or debit card, or give directly through your bank account. Be sure to select "Opportunity Fund" when asked to select your designation.

  • Give by Mail. You can also give by sending a check with "Opportunity Fund" in the memo line to: Redemption Hill Church, PO Box 15250, Washington, DC 20003.

  • Give in Person. Every worship gathering provides opportunity for those in attendance to give toward the work of Redemption Hill Church.

  • Give on our App. The Redemption Hill Church app allows you to easily and securely give on your smartphone. You can download it from iTunes, Google Play, or Microsoft Store.

Redemption Hill is a 501(c)3 organization, and all contributions are tax-deductible.

What does this money go toward?
$30,000 toward a Church Planting Residency Fund.
$10,000 to support strategic ministry partnerships.

What will happen to any money raised over the $40,000 needed?
If we raise more than the $40,000 it will accelerate the opportunity to pursue applicants for a full-funded Church Planting Residency.
